英格兰全民医疗服务局NHS England （NHSE）
NHS England (NHSE) is an arm’s length body of Department of Health and Social Care and has responsibility for arranging provision of health services in England. Its Workforce, Training and Education Directorate is the NHS strategic workforce body. It works with system partners to plan, recruit, educate, train (“hands-on” workplace-based learning; face to face and digitally), and to transform the health workforce in England’s NHS. The Workforce, Training and Education Directorate invest £4bn each year in our core activities.
The Global Health Unit sits within the Workforce, Training and Education Directorate. It supports the development of more resilient and sustainable global health systems to address global challenges. By promoting partnerships and exchanges with health systems around the globe, the teams within the directorate are here to share 70 years of NHS healthcare expertise and innovation with the rest of the world, with the aim of expanding Universal Health Coverage globally.
