中英绿色医疗健康研讨会-线上参会 UK-China Net Zero Healthcare Symposium 2023

世界卫生组织估计，在2030年至2050年期间，气候变化预计每年将造成约25万人死亡。5% 的全球温室气体来自于医疗健康行业。因此，减少卫生系统对环境的影响不仅意味着我们的患者和社区有一个更健康的未来，而且还具有提高效率和降低提供卫生服务成本的潜力。气候变化和健康也成为迪拜COP28会议的热门议题。

英国国家医疗服务体系（NHS）是世界第一个致力于实现净零排放的卫生系统，并制定了目标：在2040年实现NHS控制的净零排放，到2045年实现其影响的净零排放。此外，中国也制定了相关的计划，在多个部门实施创新和更清洁的代替方法，预计2060年实现净零排放目标。因此，中英两国拥有使各自的卫生系统对患者实现碳中和的共同目标并进行经验分享讨论与合作。随着许多其他国家也在致力于创建低碳可持续的卫生系统，英国政府和NHS正在积极与世卫组织合作，以尽快实现这一全球目标。

在习近平主席和时任英国王储、现任英国国王查尔斯三世的关心与支持下，“可持续市场倡议”中国理事会于2022年成立。中国理事会将召集各领域领军企业与组织，共同加快推动实现自然、人类和地球更可持续的未来。今年11月，“可持续市场倡议”中国理事会成立健康系统工作组。工作组将以加快中国医药医疗行业向净零排放转型为重点，扩大全球影响力。

2023 年中英绿色医疗健康研讨会将汇聚中英两国政府、英中贸易协会、英国国家医疗服务体系、ESG专家、中英研究机构、大学以及相关行业代表，展示两国在碳中和卫生服务方面的创新。会议旨在举办一次有重点、有影响力的研讨会，探讨绿色医疗创新和实施的关键，以促进高效的讨论和合作。研讨会围绕绿色供应链和制造、绿色医疗基础设施、绿色医疗服务和科技等话题进行专题讨论，研讨会嘉宾将包括来自英国NHS专家、中英两国的高级政府官员、企业高层代表、跨领域行业学术专家及医疗服务机构代表等，旨在促进两国在绿色医疗健康服务领域的合作创新和长远发展。诚邀您线上参会！

The NHS in UK became the world’s first health service to commit to reaching net zero: by 2040 for the emissions it controls and by 2045 for the emissions it influences. Additionally, China has ambitious plans to implement innovations and cleaner, alternative approaches to all sectors to reach net zero by 2060.  

 

Last year, the Sustainable Markets Initiative (SMI) China Council was established in 2022 with the support of President Xi Jinping and His Majesty King Charles III in his former role as The Prince of Wales, convening top organisations to help accelerate and deliver on a more sustainable future for Nature, People and Planet. As part of the innovation, SMI China Health Working Group was launched in November this year.

As a result, the two countries have a common goal to make their health systems carbon neutral for their patients; and UK and Chinese organisations have a lot of great insights to share, discuss and form partnerships over.  

This symposium will demonstrate the future positive impact this will have on the China health system. Additionally, with scores of other countries now committed to creating low-carbon sustainable health systems, the UK government and NHS are working with the WHO to promote and facilitate this global ambition. 

This UK-China Net Zero Healthcare Symposium 2023 will bring together UK Government, NHS, ESG experts, wider Chinese industry and government leaders in this space to showcase the two countries’ innovations in carbon-neutral healthcare delivery. It aims to facilitate a focused and impactful symposium to explore key aspects of new zero healthcare innovation and implementation to generate discussion and collaboration.
